摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve low temperature startability of an engine and sufficiently improve exhaust emission control performance at low temperature in the internal combustion engine in which fuel containing alcohol is used as main fuel. SOLUTION: This fuel supply device is applied to the internal combustion engine in which at least alcohol containing fuel containing alcohol fuel is used as main fuel, and includes a main fuel injection valve supplying the internal combustion engine with the main fuel comprising alcohol containing fuel, and an auxiliary fuel injection valve supplying the internal combustion engine with auxiliary fuel. The auxiliary fuel improves low temperature startability of the internal combustion engine, and accelerates oxidation action of an exhaust gas purification catalyst oxidizing hydrocarbon in exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine. The auxiliary fuel is supplied to the internal combustion engine from the auxiliary fuel injection valve during at least one of a start initial period from start until prescribed time elapses and a low temperature period during which engine temperature is not greater than prescribed value during engine operation.
