PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rear end of a seat from sinking downward when the seat is raised up forward while avoiding the interference of the lower end of a back rest with the rear end of the seat. SOLUTION: A seat device 1 for a vehicle includes: an arm 21 connected to a floor, and provided rotatably around a first connection part to the floor to be in a forward inclined state from a backward inclined state; a seat 2 connected to the arm 21 at the rear of the position of the first connection part when the arm 21 is inclined backward, and provided rotatably around a second connection part to the arm 21 in the right and left directions with respect to the arm 21; a fastener 32 attached to the seat 2 on the rear of the second connection part and provided swingably backward and forward with respect to the seat 2; and a receiving part 33 provided on the floor, receiving the fastener 32 from below when the arm 21 is inclined backward, and attachable to/detachable from the fastener 32.
