PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for vending machine with the opening and closing operability of a front door is improved. SOLUTION: The device includes a lock slider which is provided so as to freely move vertically, along a rotation end side edge portion of the front door a door handle which is provided at a side portion of a rotation end side of the front door so as to be freely moved into a front and back direction of the front door a spring member which energizes and displaces the door handle to a rear side; a link mechanism for linking the door handle and the lock slider, and for making the lock slider move up and down accompanying the movement of the door handle; and a door stopper member provided at a portion facing the lock slider at a front side portion of a vending machine body, and for engaging with the lock slider in which the engagement with the lock slider is released at the operation of the door handle.
