PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head reduced in size, and to install an exhaust gas sensor while preventing an increase in the number of components, in an internal combustion engine in which: an exhaust side rocker arm having a cam contact part coming into contact with a valve connection part and a cam of a cam shaft is swingably supported by a rocker shaft supported by the cylinder head; and an exhaust port is disposed in the cylinder head. SOLUTION: A valve connection part 73 of an exhaust side rocker arm 57E, a cam contact part 74, and a rocker shaft 56E are disposed on an upper side of an exhaust port 46 in this order toward downstream of the exhaust port 46. An exhaust gas sensor 80 disposed on a lower side of a lower wall 27c so as to detect properties of an exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust port 46, is installed in a cylinder head 27 which includes: a sidewall 27b covering the rocker shaft 56E from a side; and the lower wall 27c covering at least a portion of the rocker shaft 56E from a lower side.
