PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device, in which a long stroke can be press-fitted by a pressing machine of a short stroke, and which facilitates coping with press-fitting of various strokes. SOLUTION: The processing device includes a processing unit 3 is fitted to a reciprocating unit of the pressing machine so that it can freely move to a direction SD crossing a reciprocating direction ZD, and includes the processing unit 3 for abutting on a terminal 111 of a press-fitting material 11 and press-fitting the press-fitting material 11 to holes 121 and 141, and a moving means for moving the processing unit 3 to the moving direction SD. The processing unit 3 has a plurality of abutting faces 312 formed stepwise in a direction crossing the moving direction SD, and press-fits a press-fitting distance L2 longer than a prescribed distance L1 by controlling the movement of the processing unit 3, switching the abutting face 312 abutted to the terminal 111 so that it is sequentially brought into contact with the holes 121 and 141, controlling the reciprocation of the processing unit 31 whenever the abutting face 312 is switched and repeating the press-fitting of the prescribed distance L1 for a prescribed number of times.
