PURPOSE: An emergency hydraulic pump unit for a ladle door is provided to prevent the coagulation of molten metal in a ladle in the event of power outage. CONSTITUTION: An emergency hydraulic pump unit for a ladle door comprises an accumulator(110), a hydraulic flow line(120), first and second hydraulic manual valves(130,150), and a hydraulic bypass line(140). The accumulator stores a fixed amount of pressure oil to operate a hydraulic cylinder(25). The hydraulic flow line is connected from the accumulator to a hydraulic pump unit(20). The first hydraulic manual valve is installed in one side of the hydraulic flow line. The second hydraulic manual valve is installed in a hydraulic bypass line. The first and second hydraulic manual valves are opened and closed with a manual operation in an emergency to control the flow of hydraulic oil. The hydraulic bypass line bypasses pressure oil from a hydraulic line between the hydraulic pump unit and a hydraulic solenoid valve(21) to a hydraulic line between a hydraulic rotary union(22) and the hydraulic solenoid valve.
