FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: spark plug (1) is essentially of prolonged shape and has the following: coaxial electrode, internal electrode with axis (D), which forms central electrode (3), and external electrode forming housing (2) enveloping central electrode (3); electrically insulating annular unit forming insulator (4) located between central electrode (3) and housing (2), which has annular shape and annular collar (5). Insulator (4) includes annular groove (8) located on collar (5), which reduces longitudinal heat conductivity of insulator and increases insulator surface area open for flame in small volume, which provides control of heat range of multi-spark plug, thus increasing the insulator temperature and providing its cleaning from soot as result of pyrolysis. ^ EFFECT: increasing electric strength of the spark insulator. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
