<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry electrophotographic color toner and a method for manufacturing the toner which does not cause filming on a photoreceptor, a regulating member for the thickness of a developer layer, a developing sleeve or the like even after the toner is used for continuous printing for a long time with a single-component or two-components color developing method, and which has excellent electrification characteristics and which can stably form images excellent in transparency, image density, picture quality or the like. SOLUTION: In the dry electrophotographic color toner containing at least a binder resin, an electrification controlling agent and a coloring agent, the binder resin is a polyester resin and/or a polyol resin containing no THF insoluble content, having <=4 wt.% of the component with <=500 molecular weight in the molecular weight distribution by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) by 4 wt.%, having one peak in the region from 3,000 to 9,000 molecular weight and having the weight average particle size Dr satisfying 0.1 mm<=Dr<=0.7 mm. The weight average particle diameter Dc of the electrification controlling agent satisfies 0.001<=Dc/Dr<=1.</p> |
