PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling air pressure of eardrum are provided, which can prevent air pressure difference between the inner ear and outside of eardrum. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling air pressure of eardrum comprises: a measuring unit(110) measuring air pressure difference value between the inside and outside of the eardrum based on an output sound outputted to eardrum and a reflection sound source reflected from the eardrum; a pressing portion(130) pressurizing the eardrum; and a controller(120) which controls the pressing portion in order to pressurize the eardrum.
