PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for vulcanization bonding with a steel cord using a rubber composition having high safety and excellent adhesiveness to a steel cord without using a toxic vulcanization promoter, N,N-dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolylsulfenamide. SOLUTION: Vulcanization is carried out using a rubber composition including one or two or more selected from particular dithiobenzothiazole compounds and sulfur in compounding ratio of 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. and 1-10 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber, while contacted with a steel cord.
