PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a bathtub lid, easily making a contour line of the top of a bathtub coincide with a sealing part of a bathtub lid. SOLUTION: This bathtub lid installation structure includes: a drainage stopper operating part provided on the top of a rim part of the bathtub; and the bathtub lid horizontally put on the rim part to block up an opening of the bathtub. The bathtub lid is provided with a through hole of dimensions for storing the operating part in the interior. When the bathtub lid is horizontally installed on the rim to make the through hole coincide with the operating part, it is positioned so that the contour line of the top of the rim part coincides with the sealing part formed on the whole periphery of the peripheral edge part of the bathtub lid.
