PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development, the toner having excellent abrasion resistance and bending properties even in use in a high-speed image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development comprises a crystalline resin, an amorphous resin, a release agent, and a colorant. In the toner, a content of the crystalline resin is 15-75 wt.%, a content of the release agent is 3-25 wt.%, a melting temperature Tm of the crystalline resin is 25-70°C, a glass transition temperature Tg of the amorphous resin is 60-90°C, and the release agent contains an alcohol component with a carbon number distribution of 22-33.
