摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an alignment layer for forming the alignment layer divided and aligned in the fine shapes without using a mask, a liquid crystal display panel with the alignment layer manufactured by the method for forming the alignment layer and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The method for forming the alignment layer is the one for forming the alignment layer 3A which is divided and aligned, and includes steps of: forming a film 310A by applying a first liquid material containing a first alignment layer material in which anisotropy is generated by being irradiated with linear polarization having first wavelength to an area 31A and drying the first liquid material, and forming a film 320A by applying a second liquid material containing a second alignment layer material having second wavelength in which anisotropy is generated by irradiation with linear polarization to an area 32A and drying the second liquid material; and aligning the film 310A in the horizontal direction (first direction) by irradiating the film 310A with the linear polarization having the first wavelength, and aligning the film in the vertical direction (second direction) by irradiating the film 320A with the linear polarization having the second wavelength.
