PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistance evaluation method of a conveyor belt, capable of acquiring a highly-reliable evaluation result. SOLUTION: A metal block 1 having a plurality of protrusions 4 and/or recesses 5 formed on the bottom surface is heated up to a prescribed temperature, and the heated block 1 is placed on the conveyor belt 7 as long as a fixed time, and after removing the placed block 1 from on the conveyor belt 7, a burned damage state of the conveyor belt 7 is observed and measured.
