<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suck floating toner generated at a developing position, and to prevent toner from adhering to or becoming deposited on an inner wall of a suction tube of a toner suction device. <P>SOLUTION: This toner suction device includes a first suction pipe 23 and second suction pipe 33 having suction ports 21 and 31 arranged to face the peripheral surface of a photoreceptor drum 2. A plurality of electrodes 22 and 32 are stuck onto upper plates 23a and 33a and lower plates 23b and 33b near the suction ports 21 and 31 of the suction pipes 23 and 33. One of electrodes 22a and 32a is grounded, an alternating-current component of a developing bias voltage is applied to electrodes 22b and 32b adjacent to this, and an oscillating electric field is formed between both poles. The floating toner sucked from the suction ports is oscillated and moved by an oscillating electric field formed between the electrodes, so that the floating toner is apt to be sucked, and the toner is prevented from adhering to or becoming deposited on the inner surface to the suction pipes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
