A second control section (16) controls the rotation interrupter (28) in accordance with the operating condition of a power converter (21) that drives the motor (15) by conversion of DC voltage or AC voltage or AC voltage of arbitrary frequency, and of a power conversion section (10) having a first control section (22) that controls the power converter (21), and in accordance with the operating condition of the motor (15) and rotation interrupter (28) and also the operating condition of the second control section (16) itself.
