<p>Provided is an optical device, which realizes a feedback control even while a firmware thereof is being upgraded, thereby performing the output control of an optical output properly. The optical device comprises an auxiliary control unit therein separately of the firmware. At the feedback time, the auxiliary control unit stores the control information outputted by the firmware, and outputs the control information stored, when the upgrade of the firmware is started. The output control of the optical output is performed in place of the firmware, so that the optical output can be properly controlled.</p> |
