PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus which suppresses reduction of waterproofing effect and dust proofing effect for a key switch due to key top depression. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a case 2 with a formed opening unit 13a, key switches 51 arranged inside of the case 2 facing the opening unit 13a, the key top 41 composed to be able to move between a first state in which an external surface is exposed to the outside of the case 2 through the opening unit 13a and a second state in which any key switch 51 is depressed so that it is inserted inside of the case 2 compared to the first state according to the depression of the external surface, a supporting member 42 arranged in an opposite surface of the external surface of the key top 41, a base member 60 arranged inside of the case 2 facing the supporting member 42, and an elastic member 43 which is arranged to be held between the supporting member 42 and the base member 60.
