PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch-mounting structure for steering wheel, capable of easily carrying out mounting of a switch on the steering wheel. SOLUTION: The steering wheel 1 consists of core metal 11, a coating member 12 for coating the surface of the core metal; a concave part 13 formed at the coating member; and a switch 2 arranged at the concave part. The switch 2 is structured of a case, arranged at the concave part 13 and a switch body 4 housed in the case 3. The case 3 is equipped with a housing part 31 and leg parts 32 extending from the housing part. The underside of the housing part is opened to be opposed to a bottom part of the concave part of the coating member. Since the switch body is mounted on the bottom part of the concave part, it is housed inside the housing part. The leg parts of the case are locked to engaging holes 16, formed at the core metal penetrating insertion-fitting holes 15 formed at the coating member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
