PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the output of a solar cell near the maximum power point while adopting configurations to intermittently instruct the operation of a power converter by communication. SOLUTION: A DC power supply device 10 includes a power converter 13 for power-converting the output of a solar cell 11, and configured to supply a DC power to a main power supply device 30 which outputs a constant voltage and through a DC supply line Ld to load equipment 40. A power supply management part 20 intermittently acquires the output voltage and output currents of the solar cell 11 by communication, and intermittently applies a current command value to adjacent the output currents of the power converter 13 by communication. Furthermore, the power supply management part 20 includes: a main search part 25 for searching a voltage corresponding to the maximum output point of the solar cell 11 within a specific retrieval range; and a voltage maintaining part 26 for using the voltage searched by the main search part 25 for a target voltage, and for applying a current command value set to maintain the output voltage of the solar cell 11 to the target voltage to the DC power supply device 10.
