NOISE CANCELING SYSTEM, NOISE CANCELING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise canceling system for canceling noise inside a headphone of high sound insulating property used in an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) environment. SOLUTION: The noise canceling system includes the sealed type headphone 11 put on the MRI subject, and a noise canceling apparatus 13. The headphone 11 includes a speaker 21 composed of a piezoelectric element for outputting sound, and a built-in microphone 22 which is an optical microphone that obtains at least noise inside the sealed space where the speaker 21 outputs sound. The noise canceling apparatus 13 generates a sound signal to cancel noise inside the sealed space by using at least a noise signal obtained by the built-in microphone 22, and outputs the sound signal to the speaker 21.
