PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruder capable of reducing an unreacted monomer the like in a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by being discharged from a co-rotating two-screw extruder with respect to the kneading of the thermoplastic resin, and to provide a method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin composition by using the extruder. SOLUTION: The co-rotating two-screw extruder includes a first supply port 2 at the most upstream, a second supply port 5 on the downstream side of the first supply port 2, and two or more degassing zones comprising a vent port and a molten resin non-filling part. When the degassing zone on the upstream side of a second supply part is defined as L1 and the degassing zone on the downstream side is defined as L2, the length of the L1 is 3-20 in L/D, the length of the L2 is 3-20 in L/D, (where L is a screw length and D is a screw diameter), and the total length of the L1 and the L2 is 8-30.
