PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection technology precisely projecting a desired image by performing strict projection distortion correction while removing restriction on an installation position and an attitude of a projection device. SOLUTION: A projection system includes: a projection medium 410 performing projection to a projection plane T serving as a projection target; a projection mechanism 420 having two control axes orthogonal to each other and controlling the projecting direction of the projection medium 410 according to a projection vector d having rotation angles around the control axes as components; and a projection operation part 430 operating the projection vector d based on central projection image transformation between a projection position on the projection plane T and the corresponding position on a virtual projection plane P, which has prescribed positional relationship to a three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system using the intersection of the control axes as the origin, through the origin.
