PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct data after being subjected to halftone processing. SOLUTION: A fluid ejecting apparatus ejects fluid from a nozzle row on the basis of pixel data of a first number of gradations while relatively moving the nozzle row, in which nozzles for ejecting fluid onto a medium are arranged side by side in a prescribed direction, and the medium in a direction intersecting with the prescribed direction. A method for correcting the pixel data is used for the fluid ejecting apparatus. The method includes: a step of converting original pixel data of the first number of gradations into pixel data of a second number of gradations higher than the first number of gradations; a step of correcting the pixel data of the second number of gradations, of which the number of gradations is converted, by a correction value set for each of pixel row data being a plurality of the pixel data arranged side by side in a direction corresponding to the intersecting direction on the pixel data; and a step of converting the pixel data of the second number of gradations corrected by the correction value into the pixel data of the first number of gradations.
