<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plant operation supporting system that assures real time performance and operability without complicating a device. <P>SOLUTION: Huge guidance information for supporting the operation of a plant 3 is generated by a guidance information providing device 1 to thereby assure real time performance, and slight guidance information and plant process data are displayed on a screen display device, not shown, of a plant monitoring control terminal 2 that controls plant operation.
