<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method which can improve processing efficiency by selecting a processor, which requests interruption, in the consideration of the power saving state of a processor. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor configured of a plurality of processors is provided with: a power saving state management part for managing the power saving state of each processor; an interruption acceptance part for accepting interruption; a processor selection part for selecting a processor to which interruption should be requested; and an interruption output part for requesting interruption to the processor selected by the processor selection part. The processor selection part is characterized to select the processor a time required for whose start is the shortest based on information on the power saving state acquired by the power saving state management part.
