PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which displays a predetermined image with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The display includes: a display part having pixels disposed in face direction, where particles are regularly arranged at a base layer made of a reversibly deformable material and which is composed of a color tone-changing material whose color tone changes according to the deformation quantity in a thickness direction; a pressurizing element which is disposed on the backside of the display part facing the pixels and pressurizes the pixels; and a driving part for the pressurizing element, which has a pressurizing face which is substantially parallel to the face direction of the display part and movable in the face direction. The pressurizing face takes a first position by moving in a first direction parallel to the face direction and takes a second position by moving in a second position parallel to the face position. The pressurizing face includes: a first pressurizing position regulation face which regulates the pressurizing position of the pressurizing element when the pressurizing face takes the first position; and a second pressurizing position regulation face which regulates the pressurizing position of the pressurizing element when the pressurizing face takes the second position.
