PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of enlarging its operation area by suppressing the generation of surging in a low flow-rate range. SOLUTION: The compressor 2 including an impeller 3 having a plurality of blades 9, 10 provided along the circumferential direction and a housing 4 for housing the impeller 3 therein and rotatably supporting the impeller 3 increases the pressure of the air introduced between the blades 9, 10 of the impeller 3 by applying a centrifugal force to air.
