<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition comprising a thermoplastic component and at least one superabsorbent polymer, a method of use for such composition, and an article comprising such composition. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoplastic composition is selected from a group composed of: (a) a composition comprising a thermoplastic component comprising a thermoplastic polymer and a diluent having a polar functional group, and a superabsorbent polymer; (b) a composition comprising a thermoplastic component comprising one interpolymer of ethylene having a melt index of about 100 g/10 min or greater, and a comonomer content of 30 wt.% or higher, and a superabsorbent polymer; (c) a composition comprising about 25 to 50 wt.% of a thermoplastic component having Brookfield viscosity of 30,000 cP or lower at about 180°C, and about 35 to 75 wt.% of a superabsorbent polymer; and (d) a composition comprising about 25 to 75 wt.% of a thermoplastic component, and about 25 to 75 wt.% of a superabsorbent polymer which gels within three hours. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
