PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic transducer in which an increase in power consumption is suppressed and reliability is improved. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic transducer (linear motor apparatus 100) includes a fixing part 1 in which a plurality of coils 2 are formed at specified intervals, a guide frame 4 which is provided on the fixing part 1 in the direction of array of the coils 2, and a movable part 5 whose magnetic pole face (face having an N pole) faces the coil 2 and which is held shiftably along the guide frame 4. Then, in the movable part 5, its opposite side to the inwall of the guide frame 4 is formed as a convex curved face 5a along its shift direction so that it may be line-contact (point-contact in plan view) when contacting with the guide frame 4.
