PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the effect of an anthracycline-based anticancer drug capable of predicting the effect of an anticancer drug in higher accuracy, and to provide a system therefor. SOLUTION: The method for predicting the effect of the anthracycline-based anticancer drug includes: a step of obtaining a first parameter obtained from the activity value and expression level of the first cycline-dependent kinase (first-CDK) of a malignant tumor taken from a subject in question, a third parameter obtained based on a second parameter obtained from the activity value and expression level of a second cycline-dependent kinase (second-CDK), and a fourth parameter obtained from the glutathione level of the malignant tumor; and a step of determining the sensitivity of an anthracycline-based anticancer agent used in the subject, based on the third parameter and the fourth parameter.
