PURPOSE: A voltage providing circuit and a semiconductor device having the same are provided to prevent the malfunction of a semiconductor device by detecting the drop of a voltage which is outputted from a voltage down converter circuit. CONSTITUTION: An internal voltage generation unit generates an internal voltage to output the voltage to an output terminal. An auxiliary voltage supply unit(212) supplies a separate voltage, from the internal voltage, to the output terminal. The auxiliary voltage supply unit comprises a control voltage generating unit(213) and a driver(214). The control voltage generating unit generates a control voltage for determining a set voltage level. The driver supplies a separate voltage from the internal voltage to the output terminal. |
