<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator which deteriorates less and can output clock pulses of the targeted frequency. <P>SOLUTION: The oscillator 1 uses a vibrator 21 having a fixed electrode 212 and a movable electrode 214, disposed with a gap with the fixed electrode, and includes a reference voltage supply circuit 3 adapted to supply a reference voltage; and a voltage adjustment circuit 4, having a step-up circuit 41 operating, in response to input of clock pulses and adapted to convert the reference voltage into a voltage of a predetermined level and to output the voltage, wherein the vibrator 21 is configured so as to apply the voltage of a predetermined level, output from the voltage adjustment circuit 4, between the fixed electrode 212 and the movable electrode 214, and the clock pulses which are to be input into the step-up circuit 41 are obtained by using the vibrator 21 as an oscillation source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
