PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor 1 which includes an automatic assembly facilitated structure, and prevents leakage of a silicon resin 35. SOLUTION: On an inner circumferential surface of an outer terminal of an opening 32, seal ribs 39 are formed which are bent in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a microphone 10, and a gap S between the microphone 10 and the opening 32 and a gap between the microphone 10 and a circuit board 20 are filled with silicon resins 35. Thus, the silicon resin 35 which may fill the gap after assembly, fills up almost the periphery of the microphone 10. Since the silicon resin 35 plays the role of a buffering member, the need of the buffering member such as a tubular elastic body or a foamed elastic body, for which it is difficult to be automatically assembled conventionally, is eliminated, and the need of the assembly is also eliminated, thereby providing an automatic assembly facilitated structure. This enables perfect automation by abolishing a manual assembly step in addition to cost reduction by reducing components, thereby also reducing manufacture costs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
