PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device, a droplet discharge method, and a method for manufacturing an electro-optical device, which allow efficient drawing on a work by shortening the time required for discharge defect inspection. SOLUTION: Drawing data is generated which includes work drawing data for drawing on a work W and inspection drawing data for drawing an inspection pattern on a drawing sheet 55. The drawing data including the work drawing data and the inspection drawing data is generates so as to draw in a drawing range 201 indicated by a two-dot chain line in Fig.10, and drawing on the work W and the drawing sheet 55 is performed on the basis of the generated drawing data.
