PURPOSE:The titled heat-storing material that is a combination of pentaerythritol with 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane, thus showing high heat-storing density and being applicable over a wide range of temperature without supercooling and phase separation. CONSTITUTION:The objective heat-storing material is obtained by adding (A) 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane of the formula: CH3C(CH2OH)3, e.g., 35wt%, to (B) pentaerythritol of the formula: C(CH2OH)4. The amount of component B added is adjusted to allow the composition to fit to the temperature of the purpose. |
