PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair driving input device using a handle permitting the wheelchair to be efficiently driven and a mechanism of folding a wheelchair from left to right and from front to rear. SOLUTION: The wheelchair is structured so as to transmit power from an input wheel 1 having a handle 2 to a driving wheel in place of a hand rim. When the handle is released, the handle moves to the position underneath a shaft by its own weight, pulled to the center. For use, the handle is moved to an arbitrary position along an inside disc, and the input wheel is rotated while pressing it against the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
