A downhole sealing assembly (10) for use in establishing a seal in an annulus (50) between a body (36) and a bore wall (52) comprises a sleeve (12) adapted to be mounted on the body (36) and a sealing arrangement mounted on the sleeve (12). The sealing arrangement comprises a swellable inner seal (20) mounted on an inner surface of the sleeve (12) and adapted to swell inwardly to form a seal between the sleeve (12) and the body (36), and a swellable outer seal (18) mounted on an outer surface of the sleeve (12) and adapted to swell outwardly to form a seal between the sleeve (12) and the bore wall (52). |
