The interface has an electric contact pad series with a set of electric contact pads conforming to a predefined standard i.e. ISO 7816standard, of microcircuit card (12). Another electric contact pad series has another set of electric contact pads conforming to a predefined standard of universal serial bustype memory key to permit direct electrical connection of the latter set of pads with a female connector conforming to the memory key standard. The former set of pads corresponds to contacts conforming to ISO 7816standard. An independent claim is also included for a universal serial bustype memory key assembly comprising a receiving casing.
