<p>Device for fixing bones, especially the pelvis, comprises at least one screw (21) having a screw element (23) with a threaded shaft (24) and a spherical segment head (25), a mount (26) for the head having a lower part (27) facing the shaft and an upper part (28) facing away from the shaft which together surround a bar (22), and a screw element (36) for connecting the two parts and simultaneously fixing the screw element (23) and the bar. The upper and lower parts are identical and arranged in a mirror-symmetrical manner. In between the two parts there is a thread (29, 35) interacting with the screw element connecting the two parts. The two parts have on one side facing cylinder segment recesses (30, 33) receiving the bar, and on the opposite side facing spherical segment recesses (31, 34) receiving the head. The two parts have recesses (32, 37) between the spherical segment recesses and the covering surfaces for the threaded shaft and for a tool for rotating the screw . An independent claim is also included for an alternative fixing device. Preferred Features: The fixing device comprises at least two screws and one bar held by the screws.</p> |
