PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing florfenicol is provided to prevent recrytallization of active ingredient and to improve penetration in to the body, absorption, and effectiveness. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition containing 100 weight parts of florfenicol having 50-1900 weight parts of dimethylsulfoxide, dimethylaceteamide or mixture thereof, and 5-150 weight parts of polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol or mixture thereof. The composition further contains polysorbate. The composition also contains phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, citric acid, acetic acid, lactic acid or mixture thereof.
