PURPOSE: An input device using a multi touch point for increasing the input performance is provided to reduce the number of key strokes in a user interface of character input by utilizing the multipoint touch as an input unit. CONSTITUTION: A touch point analyzer(130) analyzes an input signal according to a touch operation about a key button displayed on a touch screen(110). The touch point analyzer confirms the number of simultaneously touched touch points. A mapping unit(140) maps a key value to the input signal in the key group data of a key button. A signal processing unit(160) outputs the key signal corresponding to the key value.
