The excessive deformation of buffering component (9a) can be prevented before the deformation of the pressure detecting body (10) when foreign matter is clamped between the elevator doors (1a and 1b) thereby preventing thepressure escaping and sensitivity descending of the pressure detecting body (10). Thereby the high-precision foreign matter detecting can be executed. Besides, as the pressure detecting body (10) andthe base component (11) are assembled into the buffering component from the open side of the buffering component (9a) the assembling operation is facilitated.
