PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ligation apparatus which can be used by a user immediately after taking out from a pack, has excellent insertability into an endoscope, and can be coupled to a side-view scope or an oblique-view scope for use. SOLUTION: A coil sheath 2 is inserted, in an advanceable and retractable manner, into a guide tube 1 insertable into a living body cavity and an operation wire 3 is inserted, in an advanceable and retractable manner, into the coil sheath 2 to directly connect the tip end of the operation wire 3 to a living body tissue ligation clip 7.
