摘要 <p>The device for roll burnishing a workpiece-bore (12a), comprises a non-cylindrical mantle area, a protective sleeve for mounting workpiece (12), and a rotatable rolling tool (18) having a roller element (30), which is movable in radial direction over a stroke and is pressed in a working position against the mantle area of the workpiece-bore. The rolling tool is movably guided in a guiding sleeve (16) that limits the stroke of the roller element in the radial direction in a non-working position of the rolling tool. The device for roll burnishing a workpiece-bore (12a), comprises a non-cylindrical mantle area, a protective sleeve for mounting workpiece (12), and a rotatable rolling tool (18) having a roller element (30), which is movable in radial direction over a stroke and is pressed in a working position against the mantle area of the workpiece-bore. The rolling tool is movably guided in a guiding sleeve (16) that limits the stroke of the roller element in the radial direction in a non-working position of the rolling tool. The guiding sleeve has a free front side turned away the workpiece and is equipped in the working position in plant with the workpiece for providing a closed transition between the guiding sleeve and the workpiece-bore. The cavity of the workpiece aligns to the workpiece-hole and/or interior diameter of the workpiece corresponds to the bore diameter of the workpiece-bore. The roller element such as smoothing ball is arranged in a transverse bore of the rolling tool, whose bore diameter is constant in radial direction towards outside and is free from interception means that limit the stroke of the roller element radially towards outside. The rolling tool or thorn has a supply channel that is connected with a pressure-medium source and is hydrostatically subjected during the operation of the bore of the workpiece. The contact pressure of the roller element is mountable by controlling the fluid pressure of hydraulic pressure-medium source. The transverse bores are provided in the thorn that cut the central supply channel and receives the roller element. The transverse bore is formed in stepped manner, where the internal bore section directly adjoining to the supply channel is smaller than the ball diameter. The thorn and/or the roller tool is axially arranged with the guiding sleeve at the working position that has a tight chip plate for the workpiece to be operated. The guiding sleeve is axially movable and/or is held by a biasing spring in a defined axial position to the thorn in such a way that the guiding sleeve designs itself with the delivering of the thorn to the workpiece at the bore edge of the workpiece and brings the thorn in the workpiece-bore. The front side of the guiding sleeve turned to the workpiece is complementary formed to the thorn rotation axis. The bore of the workpiece is equipped with bore edges at the chip plate of the protective sleeve complementary to lower bore edges. The thorn and/or the rolling element is guidable in the protective sleeve during operation. The guiding sleeve is rotatably coupled over a rotating security under interconnection of a pivot bearing by the rolling tool. The stroke stop has a stop sleeve arranged with the rolling tool in torque-proof manner.</p>
