<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably develop a side airbag even if an arm rest is rotatable to a side portion between a use position and a storage position, in a side airbag device wherein the side airbag is stored in the side portion of a seat back of a vehicular seat. <P>SOLUTION: The arm rest 16 arranged on the side portion 30 of the seat back 24 is constituted to be rotatable between the use position in a horizontal direction and the storage position in a height direction of the seat back. When the side airbag 14 is inflated and developed, a passage 36 for bulging the side airbag 14 is formed between the side portion 30 of the seat back 24 and the arm rest 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
