<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head stack assembly (HSA) incorporating device having a holding mechanism and a screwing mechanism of the HSA, integrated into one. <P>SOLUTION: The HSA incorporating device connects the HSA to the base of a magnetic disk device by screwing a connector on the bottom surface of the rotational shaft of the HSA and a connector on the base of the magnetic disk device together. The HSA incorporating device includes a chuck 61 which pinches the rotational shaft of the head stack assembly from the upper surface of the HSA so as to be fixed to the rotational shaft, and can be rotated around the center axis of the rotational shaft, a screwing driving motor 40 for generating a motive force, and gears 40A and 42A for transmitting the motive force generated by the screwing driving motor 40 to the chuck 61 so as to become a rotational motive force for the chuck 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
