PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy-carrying thin and compact mirror that can invert an image. SOLUTION: The mirror has a transmissive optical element the cross section of which in a first direction is aspherical with the convex surface facing the side opposite to the object surface, and the cross section of which in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction is plane, and a reflective optical element disposed on the side opposite to the object surface, relative to the transmissive optical element. A luminous flux emitted from the object surface is reflected by the reflective optical element through the transmissive optical element, passes through the transmissive optical element from the reflective optical element side, and forms an image at the pupil.
