PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump capable of stably exhibiting desired pump performance. SOLUTION: Storage parts 14j and 22j are constituted of a bottom part 30 and a sidewall part (a high pressure side sidewall part 31 and a low pressure side sidewall part 32). A pressure introducing means (a communicating groove 33) for introducing pressure generated by the pump action, is arranged between the bottom part 30 and a seal member (seals S5 and S6).
