PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gatepost which enables annexes such as a doorplate, an illuminating lamp, a mailbox and an intercom for attachment to the gatepost to be attached in vertical and horizontal arbitrary positions. SOLUTION: Lattice bodies 2, which are supported by supports 1 erected at an spacing on right and left sides and which include a large number of vertical and horizontal wire rods 21 and 22, are arranged on front and rear sides in such a manner that a space 25 is provided between them; the first annex 3 is attached to the vertical or horizontal wire rod 21 or 22 of the front lattice body 2a which is arranged on the front side; and the second annex 4 is arranged in such a manner as to be installed through the space 25 between the front lattice body 2a and the rear lattice body 2b arranged on the rear side. Thus, the first annex 3 for being attached to the lattice body 2a, and the second annex 4 installed between the front and rear lattice bodies 2 can be attached in the arbitrary positions of the lattice bodies 2, respectively.
